Kevin Frazier, 20, just returned from Viet Nam, Bobby's best friend.

Bobby Dalton, 18, recent high school graduate, former football star, on his way to Viet Nam, Amy's boyfriend.

Maggie Mills, 22, recent college graduate, new high school teacher, something of a hippie chick, out of place in this conservative town.

Tom Evans, 38, Amy's father, pharmacist, owner of Evans Drug Store, Korean war veteran.

Shooting to be done in January.
